This a Macintosh Season9 type program.
It uses the same Adapter as all the other Season7 type programmes
but because its a Macintosh you must connect :-
HSi(Handshake in ) to RESET OUT(CTS or DCD) of the adapter.
I have noticed that on a Pbook 540C you need to connect RXD+ to GND
ie Pin 8 to Pin 4 of the Mini Din Apple recomend this anyway but I
have had it cause problems on other machines
Do not turn on virtual memory
NEW in DeepSpace9
10000bps now works
Note 1. The delays are in milliseconds execpt for PPC's where they may
vary. D2MAC seems to like delays of 0,0,0,0 and VCRYPT 60,0,0,0 if you
find you need different delays let me know as I will be removing the other
delays.
Note 2. Deselecting the Modem Port will switch to Printer Port MAKE SURE
APPLETALK IS DISABLED from the Chooser first. If like me your decoder switches
to 10000bps on DMAC you will have to change baud rate manually however I have an
Idea that might solve this (at least with the MS1000 as it resets 3 or for times
before declaring "Card Invalid"
Note 3. The Events button can only be ENABLED with Command E
Note 4. if Events are off you can tab thru the delays and enter values
and to see what you have done hold down the Command key for a bit. To enter
a value Tab to the correct box type value in Decimal and press return.
I have run it on a Power Mac 6100/60,7100/80, Powerbook 540 and am told it runs
on a Powerbook 145 and Powerbook 170 so this should make it work on most machines
since the SE30.
Known Bugs:-
It seems to be displaying the last channel watched sometimes, and
keeps displaying the OSM if this annoys you chnge to another channel and back.
Happy viewing.....
P.S. has anyone got the JSTV Table or any others or any other D2MAC keys
